Welcome to Truro's finest...
The John Stanfield Inn was commissioned to be
built for the late John Stanfield & wife Sarah in
1902. This Queen Anne period house is filled with
amazing woodwork that has been painstakingly
restored to its original condition, including huge
archways, a beamed ceiling and hand-carved
fireplace mantels throughout. The era has been
beautifully captured with lovely antique furniture,
and has all of the modern conveniences, including
free high speed wireless internet.
At the John Stanfield Inn we have the pleasure of giving highly personalized service both in our dining and guest rooms.
The Inn is ideally located in Truro, Nova Scotia which is also known as the "Hub" or central point of Nova Scotia. Guests of our luxurious Century Inn can experience the convenience
of going to nearby Prince Edward Island, Cape Breton Island, or Halifax, and returning
"home" at the end of the day. Traveling is so easy when you only have to unpack once!
